Dubai, Aug 17: After hosting last year’s successful ‘Nihal Tauro Live in Concert’, USWAS-Shirva is back again with an extravaganza event – ‘Kala Saanz’ on September 23 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, The Indian High-School, Dubai in association with Precious Parties & Entertainment.
The event will start at 6 pm sharp. Gates will open at 5 pm. The official posters of the event are out now.
The highlights of the entertainment at the dazzling event will be Pradeep Barboza Paladaka’s ‘Yenaa Zalyaar Vachana’ comedy play by Sangon Mugdana Kalakaar and Loyson Corda musical live.
The much-awaited mega event Kala Saanz will be compered by Diana D’Souza. Diana's skills as a compere further underscore her commanding presence. With an engaging and vibrant stage presence, she effortlessly guides events, seamlessly connects with the audiences and creates an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. With her proven track record of hosting regional and state-level youth conventions for ICYM, Diana has versatile talents as a singer, actor, and charismatic host converge that creates an unforgettable event atmosphere.
The stage will be all set to entertain with rib-tickling humor comedy play by Pradeep Barboza Paladka and his Sangon Mugdana Kalakaar who will keep the audiences glued to their seats as they connect with their exceptional comic timings.
About Pradeep Barboza Paladka and Sangon Mugdana Kalakaar
Known as Comedy Prince of Konkani stage Pradeep Barboza Paladka is very popular among Konkani and Tulu play lovers for his humorous gags. He has won the hearts of people through his rib-tickling and meaningful comedy dramas. He is a very talented playwright, actor and director who has shown his immense comedy skills with numerous plays successfully performed all over India and the Gulf region. He has so far, written, acted and directed 3 Tulu plays, 11 Konkani plays and one Konkani and Tulu movie, and a Konkani TV serial. Most of his plays are performed successfully in different countries of Gulf, Mumbai, Mangaluru, Udupi and Moodbidri with his team ‘Sangon Mugdhana Kalakar’ and also various teams has performed his plays including the ace directors of Konkani namely Dolla Mangalore, the late Claud D’Souza and others. Besides full-length plays, Pradeep Barboza has successfully hosted the comedy show for radio listeners in Radio 105.4 FM. He also runs a successful You Tube Channel and has performed in cultural events of various associations. His Ootre Uzwadllen drama has been translated by himself in Tulu as ‘Lakkule Pulyand’ in DVD version with famous Tulu stage artistes like Aravind Bolar and Sundar Rai Mandara in the cast. For his immense contribution in the drama field, ‘Konkan Yuva’ has bestowed him with the title 'Konkani Haasy Kuvar'. Pradeep is also credited with Konkani’s richest and technically sound super hit movie ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na’. He wrote the story and screenplay of the movie, directed it and acted in the lead role.
Being a fantastic actor, Pradeep will co-perform in this latest play with his artistic team Sangon Mugdana Kalakar. The entire team is all set to create laughter-riots among the audience.

Leading the rhythm section is Alap, a seasoned professional in the realm of drumming, known for his expressive and versatile style that spans a broad spectrum of musical genres. The guitar strings will be expertly handled by the illustrious Alwyn Fernandes. His reputation as one of India's top ten guitar players, as recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine, continues to shine. Alwyn's impressive portfolio includes collaborations with the likes of Sandeep Chowta, and his involvement in groundbreaking bands such as W.A.R.D.E.N, Sign Of Four, Millennium, Livin’ Machine, and Karma 6. Alwyn, alongside Sandeep, achieved acclaim for their band ‘Pulse’, which secured the prestigious ‘Billboard Viewers’ Choice Award’.
Rahul, an accomplished bassist, brings his passion for rock music to the stage, boasting over 10 years of experience performing across India and the UAE. His versatility shines through as he effortlessly navigates various genres, from gospel and folk to metal and Hindi music. Currently a pivotal member of Cactus Collective and sought-after for sessions with other artists. Completing the lineup is Joston, a keyboard virtuoso whose true passion lies in the realm of live performances. His versatility and mastery over the keys add a layer of sonic richness to the overall experience. Together, this ensemble of dedicated and highly skilled musicians promises to create an unforgettable musical journey, leaving the audience captivated by their electrifying performances.
