Raj BJP abuzz with who will lead party's election campaign

Jaipur, Aug 17 (IANS): BJP's Rajasthan unit is abuzz with speculation over who will be lead the party's poll campaign in the state as many senior leaders of the party are visiting Delhi and camping there.

As per sources, party's central leadership will release this list soon after deliberating all pros and cons.

It's already known that the party high command has taken election reins in its hands and hence Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other leaders like Union ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, are already visiting the desert state.

Many veteran leaders have already asked state leaders to contest polls unitedly amid the news of infighting coming in which are spoiling game for saffron party. However there is no let up in factionalism within party.

Senior leader Vasundhara Raje recently skipped party' protest, which grabbed many eyeballs. Thereafter, Raje visited Delhi and met veteran leaders. In fact, she also met RSS leaders in the desert state.

Now all eyes are set as who will be the election in-charge.

On Thursday, BJP has reportedly called its core committee meeting at state headquarters. It remains to be seen whether all veteran leaders will attend the meeting, if there is any discussion on poll campaign chief or the name is announced later in the day itself.
