Bengaluru, Aug 17: Karnataka and Bengaluru are models for development for the entire country, said Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and industrialists are flocking to invest in the country’s knowledge capital city and in the State.
Participating in the 19th edition of the Indian Innovation Summit, CII India Innovation 2023, in Bengaluru on Thursday, he said the State has the best technical manpower and infrastructure facilities.
Investment in industries in the State and in Bengaluru would be mutually beneficial to the entrepreneurs as well as the State, he said promising that the government will take all steps to help industries without any political bias or favouritism.
Shivakumar said the people have blessed the Congress party with a mandate to work for development and welfare of the people."We will do everything in our power to ensure that the State remains the number one investment destination,’’ he said and assured that the government will come out with industrial policies to boost development.
The deputy chief minister said the first global investors summit was held in the State and subsequent governments have continued the developmental agenda. "We are determined to frame policies and work for the development of the State,’’ he added.
