Udupi, Aug 20: An accident occurred when a car attempted to overtake a bike near Jakkana Makki within the jurisdiction of the Nadpal gram panchayat limits in Hebri. The collision involved two cars and resulted in injuries to seven individuals.
The injured parties include bike rider Sudhakar, as well as car occupants Hanumanthappa, Babu Poojary, Naveena, Venkatesha, Eeranna, and driver Pankaj, all of whom sustained serious injuries.
A case pertaining to this incident has been lodged at the Hebri police station.
