Kundapur, Aug 20: Lawyer Ambika Prabhu expressed unwavering confidence in the pursuit of justice for Sowjanya, highlighting that the foundation of Dharma laid at Dharmasthala assures a just outcome.

Prabhu conveyed these sentiments during her address at a protest rally organized by the Sowjanya Horata Samiti in Saligrama on Saturday. She further stated, "The Hindu society has a history of upholding justice in the face of atrocities against its members. Similarly, the Saujanya family too shall receive justice. The ongoing protests exemplify the resolute spirit of the Hindu community."

Dinesh Ganiga, the state secretary of the Human Rights Foundation, responded to criticisms, stating, "It is disheartening to witness some individuals claiming that the Sowjanya family and the protesters are treating this case as an ATM. Is it unjust for the family members of a brutally murdered girl to seek rightful justice?"

Kusuma, mother of Sowjanya, her voice heavy with emotion, demanded, "The perpetrators who took my daughter's life should face the gallows. The prevailing determination to secure justice for my daughter is evident everywhere."

The introductory speech was delivered by Nagaraja Ganiga. Sudhir Malyadi, along with Vittala Gowda, the uncle of Sowjanya, were also present during the event.
