Mangaluru, Aug 20: A ganja addict who was disturbing the peace by standing right in the middle of the state highway driving a bike haphazardly, was caught and arrested skilfully by the Konaje police.
Abubakar Siddique (24), a resident of Ullal Mukkacherry Kaiko, was arrested.
The accused, who had taken ganja and was riding carelessly on his bike was holding a knife and a stone in his hand and had created panic among the public. Locals informed the Konaje police station and a ex-serviceman Santhosh who reached the spot succeeded in arresting Siddique by locking him from behind,
At this point of time, the police personnel were helped by another retired soldier Purnesh. A video of the incident has gone viral on the social media.
