New Delhi, Aug 7 (IANS) The residents of Delhi had a hot and humid Sunday as the maximum temperature was recorded two notches above average at 35.2 degrees Celsius.
While the minimum temperature settled at 27.6 degrees Celsius - two notches above average, the humidity wavered between a high of 95 percent and low of 63 percent.
The capital received 0.2 mm rainfall between 8.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. This season, the total rainfall in the city was 210.8 mm -- 39 percent less than normal.
"The sky will be generally cloudy Monday and there is a possibility of one or two spells of rains in some parts of the capital," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum likely to hover around 28 degrees.
