Mangaluru: Three including student arrested for peddling MDMA

Mangaluru, Aug 21: Pandeshwar police arrested three people on the accusation of selling MDMA narcotic.

The arrested accused are identified as Abdul Ravoof (29) from Talapady, Ubeid Kunumal (21), a resident of Kannur Panoor and second BCom student of a college in the city and Mohammed Irshad (21), working in a chicken shop and native of Moodigere in Chikkamagaluru district.

The accused were allegedly selling MDMA drug near Jeppu Kings Guard on Friday. Sub inspector of Pandeshwar police Manohar Prasad raided and confiscated 5.071 gram of MDMA valued at Rs 13750, Rs 1500 cash, digital weighing scale, mobile phone and two, two-wheelers from the accused. The total value of the confiscated goods is Rs 1.77 lac.
