Mangaluru, Aug 21: Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University Organized ‘Udgham - Freshers Day’ on August 19 at Hotel Srinivas Auditorium. The second year and third year students of the Institute of Aviation Studies put their creative hats on to organize Udgham, where they extended a warm welcome to the juniors to the family of Aviation Studies.

A heart-warming moment unfolded during the Udgham - Freshers' Day celebration as junior and senior students from the student Council came together for a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony. The ceremonial cutting of the cake not only marked the joyous occasion but also symbolized the unity between different batches within the institution. The event featured a variety of engaging activities designed to help the new students break the ice and bond with their peers. One of the highlights of the day was a cultural extravaganza that celebrated the talents of the student body. Colourful dance performances and music were met with thunderous applause from both the newcomers and their seniors. The event was further enlivened by musical performances by talented students.

Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies honoured the occasion with her presence. The teaching fraternity of the Institute of Aviation Studies also presided at the event.

Udgam was a resounding success, leaving the new students with a sense of belonging and excitement for the academic journey that lies ahead. The event underscored the institution's commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus culture.
