Mangaluru, Aug 21: A distressing incident has come to light this evening as the owner of two bakeries was discovered hanged in his residence at Shantibagh near Kutharu under the jurisdiction of the Ullal police station.

The deceased has been identified as Rudresh (36), a resident of Ballenahalli on Halebidu Road in Hassan District.

Rudresh, along with his wife Hemalatha and their two children – Poorvika, a class 8 student, and Nishchita, a class 4 student – had recently moved into a rented house near Shantibagh. The family had relocated from Santhoshnagar just a few days prior to the tragic incident. Rudresh, who had relocated from Hassan 12 years ago, operated the Bengaluru Iyengar Bakery near Yenepoya Hospital in Kutharu.

Earlier today, after closing the bakery, Rudresh returned home with his family for a tea break and did not return to work thereafter. While Rudresh rested in one room, his wife Hemalatha slept in another. Later in the evening, when Hemalatha awoke, she discovered that Rudresh was unresponsive. Breaking into the room, she found her husband hanging. It is worth noting that Rudresh had a history of heart disease and had received frequent medical treatment for it. Hemalatha herself had recently undergone ear surgery and was discharged from the hospital a few days ago.

During the incident, Rudresh's sister was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Deralkatte and had spent two days at her brother's house along with her son. At the time of the tragedy, Rudresh's younger daughter and sister's son were at the bakery near Yenepoya hospital, while his elder daughter and wife remained at home. Known for his amiable nature, Rudresh had forged many friendships over the years.

The Ullala Police Station has registered a case, although the exact motive behind Rudresh's tragic suicide remains unknown at this time.

Only an entrepreneur understand there pain. Top of that land and house prices in our teir-2 province is not not justified. Life is so expensive even medical professionals can't afford. May the soul of brother Rudresh rest in peace .May Almighty give strength to the wife and children. God have mercy.

I do not like to comment on such issues, but Modi's "Acche Din" has killed so many in India for sure.

RIP! Most small to medium businesses which run on rental premises have become utterly unsustainable due to ever increasing input costs and decline in sales as majority public cannot afford to buy their stuff at exorbitant rates! Next will be the turn of hotels and bars as business has declined 😔 very much after whooping increase in liquor rates and to add price of essential food commodities! BTW, cost of living in a metro like Mumbai is very much cheaper than Mangalore!

Such a friendly person just spoke to him two days back. Never had to take such a dissicion. Yes i understand many situations are unable to be handled but still trust in GOD for everything. When things are unable to be handled by a human power, that is when every human needs to understand there is a power which is more than ALL OUR UNDERSTANDING. Very very sad for Rudresh and his family. May God give them all the strength to overcome this hardships! Feel sorry for those two lovely kids!

RIP Rudresh - End time is approaching. Whoever is going through trouble / bad times needs to challenge the same God who created us, we may have many gods but only the Creator who created you & me can save us from the clutches of the Devil. Lord said ''The thief (Devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.''

Despite all your quotes, volhagina guttu Shivanai balla. When the devil tempts humans, he has the upper hand goading him to take extreme steps. Only Shiva, the Destroyer can put him down.

RIP. Rudresh. It's not easy to do business after 2014 . Almost all small and petty shop owners are in problems. They make show from financers with havey loan interest. In this case they say he is having heart problems.
