Mangaluru: Two engage in fist fight in public place, arrested

Mangaluru, Aug 22: Bajpe police arrested two men, who were abusing each other with profane words and involved in fist fight at the bus stand at Gurpur Kaikamba in front of public. The video of the incident had gone viral on social media.

The arrested accused are identified as Shivaprasad (39), a resident of Tenka Belloor of Bantwal and Shadrak Imanuel alias Manu (39), from Shaktinagara Karmika Colony.

The incident occurred on Monday August 22. Bajpe police who were patrolling on a Hoysala vehicle, who received information about the ruckus, arrived on the spot and took both men to police station.

A case of trying to create public nuisance is filed against the offenders.

    Frequent reports of lawlessness in public places is a matter of grave concern... It does not take anarchy to spread as humans are basically animals with varying levels of animosity... Unfortunately there are several youth in the lower middle class bracket and are frustrated due to lack of employment opportunities... Adding to that is easily available drugs that affect their minds into violent direction... Luckily we are done with poisonous party who have only agenda to communalize and polarize votes for survival...
