Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School holds spiritual, motivational talk

Mangaluru, Aug 22: St Agnes School CBSE organised a spiritual and motivational talk on August 18-19in Block I and II hall. The day was filled with prayer, action, motivation, and reflection of spiritual beings with thought provoking activities to enrich the children. The session was conducted to the students from grade V to X.

The resource persons for the session were Fr Prem Cutinha, Fr Dony Cardoza, Fr Ashwin Dias and Fr Joyan Dcosta, who rendered their priestly service at the Congregation of Most Holy Redeemer. With great joy they were happy to enlighten the children on the various aspects of life and spirituality.

The sessions were given a start by invoking God’s blessings through prayer song followed by meditation, fun activities and discussions on different aspects of life were conducted. The woman I want to be, the digital world and its advantages and disadvantages, the importance of prayer, challenges in life and ways to find the best solution were thought-provoking informative topics that defined the various activities, action songs and reflection. A thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration was held at St Agnes Chapel on the second day of the session.

Sr Lenita Lobo AC, the vice principal and Sr Sweedal Fernandes AC co-ordinator dated the session along with the teaching faculty. Sr Lenita Lobo welcomed the priests and the gathering. Drithi Anchan and Frizel Fernandes proposed the Vote of thanks for the educational session.

The management congratulated the principal and staff for organising this session and thanked the resource persons for their enriching session which filled the children with knowledge.
