Daijiworld Media Network – Kasargod (SS)

Kasargod, Aug 23: Kerala state police chief Dr Sheikh Darvesh Sahib has directed all district police chiefs (Superintendents of Police) to consider stone pelting incidents on trains seriously and also take stern action to stop such incidents.

The director general of police has already written to all the SPs of the districts and directed them to conduct inquiries against stone pelting incidents on trains.

He has directed the police officials to examine CCTV footage at homes nearby where stone pelting incidents took place. Also, he directed officials to examine CCTV footage from cameras placed on roads near the railway tracks. He has directed the officials to follow such trails and arrest those involved besides taking stern action against all of them.

The Kerala state police chief DGP Dr Sheikh Sahib said the police should conduct inspections from time to time on railway tracks and also at railway stations. Besides, he has directed the officials to patrol environmentally sensitive locations regularly and increase night patrolling. He said the police should take help and work closely with Railway Protection Force and Railway Police personnel.

The state police chief said public participation should also be increased to avoid stone pelting incidents on trains. He has directed the police officials to constitute special teams with citizens of the region to check stone pelting incidents so as to encourage community policing.

Meanwhile, the side window glass panes of Rajdhani Express train were broken due to stone pelting incidents between Neeleswaram and Kanhangad stations in Kasargod on Monday.

A coach of Rajdhani Express from New Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin to Thiruvananthapuram was hit at 3.48 pm. Hosadurga police have registered a case. Police are conducting a probe under the leadership of Kanhangad DySP P Balakrishnan Nair.

So far, 50 suspected miscreants have been detained and taken into custody by the police. Investigations are on. The police have stepped up security in railway compartments.

Kasargod was a small town before. They made it a taluk of undivided district of Dakshina Kannada. This taluk later transferred to Kerala and they made it a district. Now some of the Kasara God ( Paisawala Bagwan or money God) want to expand.

While harboring dislike towards Modi and the BJP, people often find themselves inadvertently disliking their own motherland and its achievements, such as Vande Bharat, ISRO, Chandrayaan, and more. It's a lamentable yet true situation.

Exactly, I too don’t think there can be any other reason to pelt stones at trains. It is an indication of deep rooted hatred towards the political leadership in Delhi, despite that fact that Kerala has highest number of train services considering the size of the state. These brainwashed boys had been led into believing that Modi and BJP are their enemies and so destroy whatever they have done for the nation. Fortunately I haven't heard of them doing this to state owned buses.

if you have observed carefully these people, you will realise that they do not consider India as motherland nor Indians as compatriots ... for most of them, motherland ends at their state borders ...

Indian government is spending cores of rupees for Vande Bharath train. My advise is better to install Camara out side of the railway bogies, next idea is I think only in certain areas they throw stones, that area, Drone must send when train passing..
