Udupi, Aug 23: Union minister Shobha Karandlaje has wished the best \ for India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission to the moon.
She said, “India is proud of the ISRO organization. The ISRO has helped in the space programmes of several countries in the world. The ISRO did not have sufficient facilities once upon a time. People were speaking only about America’s NASA and Russia during those conditions. But the world commends India now.
“I am glad that Chandrayaan – 3 will touch the moon. I visited Krishna math and offered prayers for it this morning. India has spent Rs 641 crore for the mission. Scientists have worked hard for the mission. I thank the scientists and wish that their efforts may be successful.
“Our prime minister had pacified the chairman of ISRO during the failure of the mission last time. There can be failure for various reasons. The prime minister had supported the scientists and financed their mission again. Therefore, the scientists have worked for it again. The mission is successful till this stage. I hope that it will be successful till the end,” she said.
On the ‘objectionable’ tweet by Prakash Raj, Shobha said that Prakash Raj neither loves India nor the matters concerning India. “He only wants the money from India. His mind is somewhere else. He can be at peace if he goes to the place where his mind is. There is no need for him to remain in India in sadness and agony. Therefore he ridicules Chandrayaan. It is an insult to India and the scientists. While other countries wish success in our endeavour, we have to question the position of those who make fun after relishing our water, air and food,” she said.
