Mangaluru: St Mary’s English Higher Primary School celebrates patroness' feast

Mangaluru, Aug 23: The feast of Queenship of Mother Mary, the patroness of St Mary’s English Higher Primary School, Falnir was celebrated on August 21 with reverence and honour.

The thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration was offered by Fr Boniface Pinto. As many 18 students were initiated to the Camel Blossom.

The event began by invoking God’s blessings through a meaningful prayer service. The programme was hosted by class 3 A and 4 B, highlighting the significance of Queenship of Mary.

Rishon D’Souza welcomed Dr Vinola Zeena Mascarenhas, the chief guest of the day and the gathering.

A meaningful cultural programme on school feast was performed by the students. The chief guest spoke on the significance of the feast and qualities of Mother Mary namely love and care, Obedience and gratitude and asked them to put into practice in their daily life.

Krithi Salian and Rishon proposed the vote of thanks.

The whole programme was compered by Nuha Naseeha and Muhammed Subhan.
