Dubai, Aug 24: ‘Kudru’ Tulu-Kannada movie launched its songs during the recent ‘Aatidonji Dina 2023’ event in Dubai on August 20 at Fortune Karama Hotel, Dubai.

Story writer, director & producer Bhasker Naik, lead actors Harshit Hegde, Priya Hegde and Daina D’Souza were on the stage during the event. Sandhya Prasad of Sandhya Creations Overseas Movies welcomed the artistes onto the stage with flowers.

The cultural feast of Tulunadu ‘Aatidonji Dina’ was celebrated with much fervor and gaiety with a festival touch which was witnessed by a crowd of over 2000 at Fortune Karama Hotel organized jointly by Sandhya Creations Event Network Team (SCENT) and Fortune Group of Hotels. During the occasion, the title song and the farewell party song of ‘Kudru’ were released which were very well applauded by the audience. The dance sequence of Namitra Malla created a hot atmosphere amongst the Dubai crowd leaving them in shredding sweat. Director Bhasker Naik has included the best scenic locales of Malnad, cultural extravaganzas, Yakshagana and other rich traditions of Tulunadu thus giving a traditional touch to the movie.

Bhasker Naik’s film provides a good message to the society by giving importance to the multi-cultural and multi-religious tolerant people living in the society. It is the first film which shows the working style of the people working in oil rigs in the gulf.

Harshit Shetty, Priya Hegde, Daina D’Souza and Bhasker Naik shared their views and experience during the making of the movie.

Local businessman and well known emcee Ronald Olivera conducted the programme in his own amicable style which created a different atmosphere amongst the audience.
