Mangaluru, Aug 24: Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy celebrated the Onam festival with great enthusiasm and splendour. The event, named ‘Aaravam’, took place on August 23, at the city campus Pandeshwar.

Dr. Rajashekar, dean of the institution of Physiotherapy, had the honour of inaugurating the programme. Dr. Ajay Kumar, development registrar of Srinivas University, along with a host of esteemed faculty members. The event was vibrant and filled with joyous moments that captured the essence of the vibrant Onam festival.

The programme commenced with a dance performance, vibrant music and colourful costumes added to the festive spirit of the occasion.

A thrilling tug of war competition was organized. The students walked the ramp with confidence. The event showcased the rich cultural diversity and sartorial prowess of the students, further enhancing the vibrant ambiance of the Onam festival celebration.

Traditional Kerala feast, known as ‘Saadyam’, was served. Faculties and students enjoyed the event.
