Chandrayaan-3: PM Modi to visit Bengaluru to congratulate ISRO scientists on Aug 26

Bengaluru, Aug 25 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on August 26 to congratulate the scientists following the successful Chandrayan-3 mission.

BJP will also hold a mega roadshow on the occasion.

Former deputy chief minister and BJP MLA R. Ashoka said that the roadshow will be held between Jalahalli Circle to ISRO Head Quarters in Bengaluru.

“I request the people and party workers to attend the roadshow to congratulate scientists and PM Modi,” he said.

In the backdrop of the visit of PM Modi to ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRACK), BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP MLAs S.R. Vishwanath and S. Muniraju have visited the centre and inspected the campus.

“The invitation is open for all to make the programme successful. If people can come at 5.45 a.m. on Aug 26, they can see PM Modi and ISRO scientists,” Ashoka said.

Nalin Kumar Kateel said that PM Modi would arrive at HAL at 5 a.m and should be extended a grand welcome. The party workers and people are invited from the Bengaluru Urban District mainly, he said.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru Police Commissioner Dayanand held a meeting to discuss about security arrangements with the Additional Police Commissioners, Joint Police Commissioners and DCPs. After arriving at HAL airport, PM Modi will reach ISRO by road and it has been decided to divert the traffic in Bengaluru on the stretch of the road.

The police department has banned the movement of goods vehicles in the Bengaluru City between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Well, if he visited when Chandrayaan-2 failed and comforted the scientists, he visiting them to instill confidence even in victory makes sense.

Indian Space Programme started in 1960 in Saint Mary Magdeline Church, Thumba, Thiruvananthapuram during Nehru era. ISRO started on 15 August 1969 in Bangalore during Indira Gandhi era. Thanks to Indian education system which gave special preference to English language.

Reading the comments , i can see lot of people are blind folded and they give credit to politicians rather then the real heroes who are the ISRO Scientists . Politicians do play their role in funding for ISRO projects like this, which has been increased since 2014 no one denay the facts.

Congratulations to scientists and those made this successful project like Kalam, and few others left this world. Also congratulations to Nehru and other leaders in the past for this organization like ISRO. We have to be proud of them. Sometimes people talks and take credit of others work is a shame which is a case now. Someone hardwork and somebody with suit boot dancing

Why this road show ? P.M. can come on T.V. and congratulate the ISRO scientists. Each and every Indian is proud of our scientists and they also know. Personal visit to ISRO is a national waste. Waste of tax payers money, trouble on traffic control and additional burden for security dept.

Real credit goes to Nehru who had a far sighted vision in 1962 to start ISRO. Feku is now using moon landing for publicity for the great work done by ISRO staff. South African visit publicity didn’t work as he thought with government sending a minister to receive him at airport while their PM went to receive Chinese PM. There were posters against him on the streets.

I feel deeply saddened when I see the jubilation for Chandrayaan’s success, while women are being attacked in Manipur. How can Indians be so indifferent that they flock to celebrate Chandrayaan’s achievement, but only a few raise their voice against the atrocities committed on the Christians in Manipur?

As we see the Moon hangs on an empty space, like wise the Earth also hangs on an empty space, which is clearly visible from the Space. Scientists have discovered it of late however, the Holy Bible clearly species it in the book of Job centuries before. See following Verse. Job 26:7, He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Slamming the Prime Minister, the Rajya Sabha MP K.C., Venugopal said, "However, the Prime Minister must answer some for his hypocrisy. You were quick to come on screen and take credit after the landing, but why has your government failed so terribly in supporting the scientists and the ISRO? Why did the HEC engineers who worked on Chandrayaan 3 not receive their salaries for the last 17 months? Why did you cut the budget for such crucial missions by 32 per cent?"
