The bane of our society is easy accessibility of pornography. Today, even a young kid with access to a smart phone can watch any type of porn from the privacy of his/her bedroom. That’s were the silent corruption of the mind starts. Sex is becoming an obsession with some youth and this can lead to crime, mental and physical disease. The Goverment can do only so much to curb the menace. It’s up to us in society to be vigilant and educate our youngsters about the negative impact of porn.

Don't assume that the rise in HIV cases is solely due to homosexuality. The source of this data is unclear. Even considering the data of 130 cases, it doesn't amount to 13 percent of cases being related to homosexuality. The report seems biased and discriminatory. Please refrain from spreading prejudice, as it can mislead people. Homosexuality is not an illness. Sexual orientation isn't a choice; it's a natural aspect of a person. It's influenced by a combination of biology, psychology, and the environment. Scientists and medicale experts also emphasise the role of genes and hormones in a person's sexual orientation.

I agree with you on all points; except that the anal lining is somehow not designed for mating activity and the chances of getting/transmitting HIV is much higher in people, (both straight and homosexuals), who indulge in such activities without adequate protection!! And in case of doubt, immediately start on post HIV prophylaxis medications within 48-72 hours! But as you said, the need of the hour is to spread clear scientific information/facts among the lay public!

Rudolf Rodrigues, i too am straight. Just like you, i am standing up by the side of our brothern who are not straight or transgenders etc. Why to condemn them, when its not deir fault at all??? Awareness should be done through sex education right from the primary and efforts should be made to accept our brothern who r not straight. For them, straight ppl sound funny and not correct, just like how some of us feel they are not correct. You keep writing and try to educate who are very discriminating and believe that we are only right. Dont worry abt disagrees. Be happy that they read our comments. Kallivalli for disagrees.

Females are been raped, killed every other day. Females are been killed in drunken brawls in families. If the killing continues & government doesn't make instant death by hanging or encounter the killers, remember one day there will be more male only population & this will trouble further in male female ratio. Also there need to be a blanket ban on liquor to be a good society.

That's fine, at least they can leave girls on the streets safe. The people who should be brahmacharis according to their organisations rule, should not bother to rape the people belonged to the other gender. Let them enjoy themselves and suffer themselves too.

Days of "Brahmacharism"; compared to the common man, these so called "bramacharis" across all religions are so fattened by gobbling nutritious food that they just can't control it! "Celibacy" is only a word found in the dictionary! Please do your own research; the above is a very personal opinion 🙂!!

Everything in nature is "cyclical"; after a long lull, HIV cases are being reported from across the world probably because, in the interim, people had become too complacent on using precautionary measures! Incidentally, HIV was first diagnosed in homosexual men who used to get an advanced type of melanoma!
