Mangaluru, Aug 25: Abhijith (30), a resident of Bolar in Mangaluru, who had pending cases registered against him, has been successfully arrested at the Mumbai international airport.

The arrest was executed by the local law enforcement after an Lookout Circular (LOC) was issued by the court. Abhijith faced charges under multiple sections, including 341, 325, 504, 506, and 504 as per registration No. 82/15, and also under sections 448 and 395 as per CR 86/15.

Having been absconding, the court had previously released a Lookout Circular (LPC) 4/2023 to bring him to justice.

The diligent efforts of the authorities culminated in his arrest at Mumbai international airport on August 23. Subsequently, he was produced before the court and has been remanded to judicial custody.

The authorities' successful apprehension of the suspect has demonstrated their commitment to upholding the law and ensuring that those evading justice are brought to face their pending legal matters.
