Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 9: The early indications at the divine query (Ashtamangala, Devaprashnam) procedure, which went under way at one of the halls of Lord Anantapadmanabha Temple here on Monday August 8, were that the future holds ominous signs. The adverse indications were visible at the initial ‘Raashi Puja’ ritual undertaken at the beginning of the divine query.
The members of the Travancore royal family have arranged for this divine query. The procedure, which is expected to last for three days, is led by Madhur Narayan Ranga Bhat.
During the preliminary procedures, it was observed that nine planets have occupied adverse positions. It has been suggested that procedures like Mrityunajaya Homa and other rituals be performed immediately, to lessen the impact of the adverse affects. The astrologers analyzed that the Lord is angry, but that there will not be any bottlenecks in the smooth progress of divine query procedure.
The procedure will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday. The royal family wants to know through the procedure of divine query, as to whether the divine powers are opposed to the opening of secret cellars, and whether the remaining cellar, identified as ‘B’, can be opened, without earning the wrath of the presiding deity.
