Bantwal: Absconding accused facing multiple cases arrested

Bantwal, Aug 26: A man, warrant accused in many cases including attempt to murder, dacoity and theft, who was absconding without attending court hearing, was apprehended by the police team led by city police station sub inspector Ramakrishna.

Ummer Farukh, a resident of Peruva in Sajipamunnuru village is the accused arrested by the police.

Farukh is accused in around 17 cases and was underground. He has cases filed against him in Bantwal city, rural, Uppinangady, Bajpe, Konaje, Barke, Vittal and Kadaba police stations.

Farukh was produced in the court by the police.
