Trouble is that these road construction contractors/companies after getting the contract by whatever means, behave as if they are kings of the world. They do not stick to the time period for completion of the road work, quality of the road surface is poor, most of the times they do not keep any warning signs on the road. Another classic example of this is the road construction work going one near the Mangalore airport. They were supposed to finish it in May this year but it seems that company will atleast take 3-4 months or even more to complete the work

First time a contractor is booked for blocking traffic due to works on the roads and also for not installing sign boards or warning signs. Where do we see warning signs when there is any work done on the road? It should be mandatory for contractors to display signboards when there is some work done on any road. Looks like the police have not got the weekly gift from contractor

What about the shabby roads filled with potholes ,lack of warning boards... what about those Contactors/NHAI Officials??. Arrest warrants should be served for all the Deaths and numerous accidents resulting in vehicles damage that have occurred due to reasons mentioned above....
