Bantwal: Filming young girl taking bath – Case filed, accused arrested

Bantwal, Aug 29: A case is filed in the city police station accusing a stranger of filming a woman bathing on mobile phone.

The young girl, who was having bath in the bathroom of her house at Jakribettu, came to know that someone was filming her from the window on the wall. The girl screamed and the stranger escaped. Though the mother of the girl and neighbours searched for the culprit, he could not be found. A case was filed in Bantwal police station in this regard.

The accused in the case was arrested later by the city police team led by SI Ramakrishna. It is said that the accused is Jagadeep Acharya of Agrar. Police are interrogating him.

Acharya was taken into custody on suspicion and he confessed to the crime, it is learnt. Police are interrogating about his indecent behaviour and are also checking whether he has committed the same offence in other places.
