Kundapur: Awareness programme on TB, AIDS organized for students at MIT

Kundapur, Aug 30: NSS and YRC unit of MIT Kundapur in association with Rotary Club Kundapur district, AIDS and TB Control division Udupi, organized Tuberculosis and AIDS awareness programme at MIT here.

President of the Rotary, Nagaraj Naik spoke on the occasion. Senior treatment supervisor Gurudas of general hospital Kundapur spoke on the control of TB and for AIDS control. Personnel counselor Nalinakshi of general hospital Kundapur gave an awareness talk to the students.

Principal of the college Dr Abdul Kareem, vice principal Prof Melwin D’Souza, Brand Building director Dr Ramkrishna Hegde, institute NSS co-ordinator Prof Balnageshwar S and YRC co-ordinator and coordinator of the programme Prof Varun Kumar former Rotary secretary Naveen D’Souza, secretary Prashanth Hawaldar member Geetha Mukundan, staff and students were present. Prof Akshatha Naik hosted the programme.
