Mangaluru, Aug 30: Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Institute of Port, Shipping and Supply Chain Managementcelebrated the Onam festival with great enthusiasm and splendor. The event, named "Tharangam," took place on August 26 at the City Campus Pandeshwar.

Prof Venkatesh Amin, Dean of the Institute of Management and Commerce,Dr. Sonia Noronha Dean of the Institute of Port, Shipping and Supply Chain Managementhad the honor of inaugurating the program.The event was vibrant and filled with joyous moments that captured the essence of the vibrant Onam festival.

The program commenced with a dance performance, vibrant music and colorful costumes added to the festive spirit of the occasion.

The event showcased the rich cultural diversity and sartorial prowess of the students, further enhancing the vibrant ambiance of the Onam festival celebration.

Dr Laveena Dmello, Dr Vidya N. Associate Professor, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof Shilpa K, Prof Sharmila Shetty, Prof Sagar were present. Faculties and students enjoyed the event.
