Baroda, Aug 31: Tulu Sangha, Baroda held a programme of Bhajans in the world’s first and only Tulu Chavadi at the India Bulls megha malls here in the evening on August 30.

The monthly special programme was held under the guidance of Dayanand R Bontra, honorary president of Tulu Sangha Baroda and sponsored by entrepreneur B R Ravikumar Gowda, Kavita Gowda Moodigere and family. Special guests Choodarathnamma Krishnakumar and Dakshin Murthy Krishnakumar Mysuru who is on an all India pilgrimage on his Chetak scooter, covered a distance of Rs 76,150 kilometres visiting pilgrim centres in four countries were felicitated.

Madan Kumar Moodigere, Karthik Gowda and ladies wing leader of the sangha, Dr Sharmila M Jain welcomed. Honorary chief secretary Balakrishna A Shetty compered the programme. Honorary chief treasurer P Balachandra Gowda rendered a vote of thanks. The devotes performed bhajans to mother Kateeleshwari.
