BJP in habit of seeking resignations: Congress


New Delhi, Aug 10 (IANS) With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) again stalling parliament Wednesday to demand Home Minister P. Chidambaram's ouster, the Congress said the opposition party was in a habit of seeking resignations.

"BJP has a habit of seeking resignations," Congress leader Rashid Alvi told reporters.

He said the police lathi-charge on BJP youth wing members during their protest outside Parliament complex Tuesday was an administrative decision.

"Whatever happened was an administrative decision taken by the police according to the situation," Alvi said

"Our sympathy is with both the youths and the police officers injured," he added.
