Beltangady: Holy Redeemer School students excel in Karate competition

Beltangady, Sep 2: Students of Holy Redeemer School, Beltangady, participated in the Karate Kumite competition in the sports meet organised by school education and literacy department, Beltangady, held at government school Bangady on September 1.

Students bagged prizes in the Kumite (fighting) competition in the respective categories.

Sonal Jennifer D'Souza of Class 6 secured first place in girls 25-30kg category, Anju Maria of Class 6 secured first place in girls 30-35kg category, Manvi of Class 7 secured second place in girls 30-35kg category, Khushi of Class 8 secured third place in girls 50+kg category and Mohammad Rayeez of Class 10 secured third place boys 50+Kg category.

Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto congratulated the students and thanked the trainer Ashok for training the students.
