BJP eating fruits of tree grown by Cong, says B K Hariprasad over Aditya-L1 Mission

Kalaburagi, Sep 2 (IANS): Congress MLC B.K. Hariprasad stated on Saturday that it was the Congress government which allotted land for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Bengaluru. BJP is eating  the fruits from the tree sowed and grown by the Congress party, he underlined.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday at Kalaburagi, Hariprasad stated on the launch of Aditya-L1 Mission that Congress party has firm belief on the scientific grounds. “We are not like BJP to go with blind beliefs,” he stated.

The scientists who worked for the Chandrayaan-3 mission belong to the backward classes. But, when it comes to power, only a few communities are enjoying it. Let people from all communities get the opportunity, he opined.

Commenting on the 'one nation one election' slogan by BJP, Hariprasad maintained that after the saffron party coming to power, there is no dearth of statements. They are destroying the diversity in the country. BJP is taking decisions against the wishes of Swami Vivekananda, he charged.

“In coming days, BJP might come out with a slogan of one nation, one leader. There is a necessity to conduct the elections without using the Enforcement Directorate (ED),” Hariprasad stated.

Talking about his exclusion from the cabinet, Hariprasad maintained, he was a loyal Congressman. “My protest is not to ask for the post of a minister. The protest is aimed at getting opportunities for small communities. I am ready to come on streets for the agitation over the issue. People should learn from late PM Indira Gandhi. From peon to top posts, employees and officers belonging to one community can’t be filled, opportunities must be given to people of all classes,” Hariprasad stated.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has congratulated the ISRO scientists. “With the successful launch, ISRO scientists have achieved initial success. I wish all success for the future endeavour of this mission,” he said.

Former CM Basavaraj Bommai has congratulated the ISRO scientists for successful launch of Aditya-L1 Sun Mission following the success of Chandrayaan-3 Mission. “India is progressing towards becoming the world leader under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In this direction India has positioned itself with top nations of the world in the space sector and drawn their attention. “I congratulate the scientists of ISRO yet again who made this possible,” he said.

(Newton says it was not his own individual effort but ideas and persons who came before him ..) .. .. Politicians needless interference... In science and technology.. It was Nehru who spoke of scientific temper and gave great impetus ... even though India had just won its freedom .. poor . Recovering after British exploitation.. partition horrors etc etc

Check TATA history. Even before Independence they put foundation for modern Indian. From Industry to Hotel, Hospital to IIT. First Airlines they built. Top banks founded by our own undevided District personalities. Haji Abulla, Pai, Bunts. Congress literally snatched Airline from Tata and Banks from founders, then nationalised. Congress ate fruits of others hard work. This is reality.

Ignorance is bliss. I had done a study for work wherein the objective was to show how much Government spends on education and research including those done in ISRO. The combined figure was not equal to what a single University in Singapore or Malaysia spent on research. This was true when MMS was in power and also subsequently. Regardless of party affiliation, the politicians of the day only celebrated isolated successes but never indulged in increasing budget to Indian academia. Indian academia on their part also were not and still are not accustomed to accountability. They demand the same level of accountability from MNCs who approach them and hence that is also the reason why no MNC invests in Indian academia other than spend what they are forced spend under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) budget. However, since 2014 budget for such fat elephants was reduced even further. They were asked to fend for themselves. And now you have HAL working overtime to deliver on orders, ISRO also similarly constrained to launch satellites. So, Congress trying to gain mileage is understandable, because they are playing to an audience which is bereft of knowledge and wisdom and happy collecting Rs. 2000 every month. Yes, USA did and is doing it still after COVID and running record budget deficit. Well, who know what that means and why should we care? In the same spirit, why don't Congress try and take credit for Air India? By nationalizing it, they took the air out of it, and it took these many years to sell its loans to the lowest bidder, who started this airline in the first place.

You rightly said so Mayya, "Ignorance is bliss". Some of your comments in DW is apt example for this. Some people even think that Internet, computers, mobile phones and social media id invented after 2014 by Modiji, because they did not had it before 2014. we can only laugh, can help.

Research on fabrication and machining of ASLV, GSLV and PSLV shells started in 1970s at L&T. I happened to be an engineer at L&T till 1987, connected in small way in designing and manufacturing fixtures for ASLV and GSLV shells. Most difficult part of such intricate manufacturing process is in achieving dimensional accuracy, developing tools for machining of MAR-AGING steel material (steel that gets self hardened with heat generated from friction when rockets move at high speed). BJP was not even born during this period. These items were being manufactured even during Indira Gandhi's emergency period and during Rajiv Gandhi's PM time followed by other parties' leadership. It is a shame that BJP is claiming the credit for hard work of scientists from ISRO, DRDL, MISHRA DATU NIGAM, etc. who have done major contribution to success of this project.

The institutions which were built by congress all through past 70yrs by congress were one of the finest and built the country from what being poorest to now counted amoung 1st 5 in the world. Yes, BJP-RSS contribution is there as well. They sided with British, even after independence, they were against IT, Bank, Land, Education reforms. But, it was done for welfare of people. Today, people are forgotten it. Karma catching up today, with misery and imposed on people by BJP. So, if someone asks why cong takes credit for all glory. Yes, they must keep reminding people, their hard work.

Congress was in power for most of the period in Indian History..people entrusted them to work for the country, they used country resources/tax to build nation (they did money for them its different issue)..then whats the meaning in saying, Bjp eating fruits of tree grown by Congress!!..NDA1 one of the best Govt we had, NDA2 did wonderful work..who will eat that fruit if Congress comes to power in next year!!

NDA’s best work is seen in Godhra, Kashmir, Manipur and Haryana. Contractors, farmers and Hindu women are committing suicide in front of PM’s residence Central Vista. Economy is in negative GDP with highest unemployment. All MNCs and FDI are closing the businesses and running home. Banks are merging. What a Best NDA govt. FYI, congress if comes to power will never go NDA’s path of wonderful work. You eat your own fruit you sow and you are eating now.

Even the Chandrayana and Suryayana are to blind people from BJP’s misgivings and divert thier attention and bolster Modi’s image at the cost of people’s tax money, otherwise there is no need for all this repeated extravaganza spending billions of dollars.
