CBI To Probe Jaganmohan's Assets

Daijiworld Media Network

Hyderabad, Aug 11: The Andhra Pradesh High Court had ordered a CBI probe into Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's allegedly gathered assets. The CBI has also been directed to register a case against all others who had invested in the companies which were promoted by him.

Taking into account a CBI report submitted on July 26 and while dealing with a petition filed by state Textile Minister Dr P Shankar Rao along with Telugu Desam Party leaders' petition, the High Court gave the order.

The probe has been ordered mainly into Jagathi Publications owned by Jaganmohan.

The bench headed by Chief Justice Nisar Ahmad Kakru noted that the publications had been showing phenomenal growth and therefore needs to be probed into due to its 'unusual' performance.

Jagan had allegedly managed to transfer public properties and permissions, leases and licenses favouring various companies at throwaway price in lieu of thousands of crores of kickbacks. Shankar Rao alleged Jagan Reddy's income rose from Rs 11 lac in 2004 to Rs 43,000 crore by the time of his father's death.

Earlier this year, Jagan declared his assets to be worth Rs 365 crore. Several parties across the political spectrum have welcomed the High Court's order.

I am happy, at last, the people have started questioning those who abused the authority while in power on the lines of what Mahatma Gandhi had said, "The real Swaraj will come not by the acquisition of authority by a few, but by the acquisition of capacity by all to resist authority when abused".

Why is all this happening to him only after coming out from Congress and launching his own party against Sonia? It's time to think more about Sonia and Congress using CBI as so called Congress Bureau of Investigation.

before 2004 elections i have a lot of hope in Mr.Ysr
But after the election when he owned
he day by day changed his way and involved in so many frauds.
he has looted public money in many ways.
still he is supported by people of rayalseema and coastel people
    why?
they need only subsidy not the welfare of other's or state but in telangana there is no prominent support for ysr family. coz they hate their family.

I don't support corruption nor the corrupt people. But what I don't like is the revengeful and hyppocratic attitude of the central govt. It attacks all those who don't agree with it, for example Jagan Reddy, Anna Hazare, etc. Congress is not serious about the problem of corruption the common people are facing everyday. Why is PM and the Judiciary kept outside the purview of Lokpal? Are they above the law of the land? A clear hypocracy from the part of central govt.

Moral of the story. If you are Under Congress Shepard, you can graze how much ever you want by giving prompt wool (kickbacks). The moment you rebel, Congress beareu of Investigation is ready to take you to the slaughter house. This is what happening from decades.
