Bantwal, Sep 4: Gopalakrishna Neralakatte, co-teacher serving at Narsha Maidana government high school is selected for district level best teacher award.
Gopalakrishna is MA and Med degree holder and completed 21 years of service. He is well known as a brilliant, active and motivating teacher. He has participated as national level resource person in various camps held in Karnataka including personality development, leadership, craft, child learning and encouragement, stage art and de addiction.
Neralakatte has guided thousands of teacher as the resource person in programmes like Nalikali training, Kannada subject and other trainings of the education department.
Gopalakrishna has written and directed child drama called ‘Bars Pakki’ which has made record 123 shows. He is identified himself as a writer also. His ‘Badalagonave Please’ column on personality development in Makkala Jagali is very popular. He has also served as the member of text book revision committee.
Gopalkrishna is a good orator, singer, writer, compere, mimicry artist, orchestra artist and drama actor. He is inspiration to scores of students. He collected Rs 80 lac from donors and educational department for the all-round development of Anantadi higher primary school and Narsha Maidana high school. He also organized the school through a team called School Brigade. He was instrumental in Narsha high school achieving 100% pass result in SSLC by holding evening and technology based classes to students.
