Beltangady: College student goes missing leaving behind note, complaint filed

Beltangady, Sep 5: Punit S T (21), son of Tope Gowda, a resident near Gurudeva College, has gone missing from Monday.

Punit was pursuing final year BSc. After his younger sister left to college, Punit was alone at home as his mother had gone to Sakleshpur.

When his mother arrived home from Sakleshpur, she found a letter written by Punit that was kept on the bed.

Girija, neighbour of Punit’s family, had seen him in the afternoon. After that, he has gone missing. Search for Punit in the houses of relatives and friends did not yield any result. Hence, his mother filed a complaint in Beltangady police station.
