Kasargod: Stones on railway track – Accused students of third, fourth grade

Kasargod, Sep 5: Stones were placed on railway tracks at Nellikunje near Kasargod railway station on Saturday. After the police interrogation, it is confirmed that the act was done by children.

The stones kept on the railway track got smashed into pieces when Mangaluru-Chennai superfast express passed and a major tragedy was averted.

As the train shook a bit, the passengers suspected some foul play and informed the matter to the Kasargod railway police.

As the miscreants were children studying in third and fourth grade, their parents were called, warned and let off.
