Mangaluru: Onam celebrations held at Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services

Mangaluru, Sep 5: The Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services in coordination with Nitte Institute of Professional Education witnessed a grand celebration of Onam on September 1, as students and staff came together to mark the occasion with enthusiasm and cultural fervour.

The programme was officially inaugurated by Dr Nagesh Prabhu, director (Curriculum Development) of Nitte Deemed to be University, amidst an atmosphere of joy and unity.

 

 

The Onam celebrations at the institute showcased the rich cultural heritage of Kerala, with a colourful and traditional Pookalam (flower arrangement) adorning the entrance, and students donning vibrant attire. The event featured a variety of cultural performances, including traditional dances such as Thiruvathira and Pulikali, and ended with Onam sadhya.
