Mangaluru, Sep 5: "Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Onam - 2023", a joint celebration was held on Tuesday, September 5 at the city campus of Srinivasa University, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism and Department of Interior Design, Pandeshwar here.

The festival was started in 2012 to expose the students to the intricacies of event management. It is an attempt to integrate the society with the organization's activities.

Srinivasa University vice chancellor Dr P S Aital inaugurated the program.

Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism dean Prof Swaminathan S, Institute of Management and Commerce dean Prof Venkatesh Amin, Institute of Port Shipping and Supply Chain Management dean Dr Sonia Noronha, Institute of Education dean Dr Padmanabha, Institute of Physiotherapy dean Dr Rajasekhar, BHM course coordinator Prof Prashant Prabhu and Prof Yogeeta Pai, Prof Padmanabha, Prof Priyanka Prabhu and others were present.

Traditional food, Tiger dance by 20 students, traditional cultural program of Onam and Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Pookalam, pot breaking, games and other entertainment events were organized as special attractions of this festival.
