Bengaluru, Sep 6 (IANS): Senior BJP leader K. S. Eshwarappa on Wednesday demanded an unconditional apology from Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara, who questioned the origin of Hinduism.

Speaking to reporters in Bagalkot, Eshwarappa said, "You either tender an apology or come up with the names of your great grandfathers."

"Parameshwara, who is the state Home Minister, should not make such comments. It just shows his desperation for grabbing headlines," Eshwarappa said.

"I want to tell Parameshwara that he does not have any right to speak on Hindu religion. Parameshwara's father is Gangadharappa. His grandfather is Mariyappa. Let him tell the name of his great grandfather," Eshwarappa added.

"Hindu religion considers the whole world as one family. Is it correct to make comments on Hinduism?" Eshwarappa said.

Speaking at an event in Tumakuru on Tuesday, Parmeshwara said, "There is still a question mark as to when Hindu religion was founded, who gave birth to Hinduism? The question mark is still there and the answer is not found. Jainism and Buddhism were found in India and Islam, Christianity came from outside. All religions want the welfare of mankind."

    Sanatana Religion is started during Indus valley civilization which is now in present day Pakistan around 4000 years back, 2000BC. Parsi(Iran) invaders called them Hindu people around 600 BC. Hindu is not a religion. All Indians or Pakistanis or Bangla Deshis are Hindus except Nepal. Sanatana is a religion. Origin of caste system is Indus valley, Pakistan.

    On the one hand BJP under the garb of Sanathana Dharma doesn't want to abolish inequality, discrimination and oppression and on the other hand doesn't want to allow conversion of oppressed to other religions. Their target is to choke the backward communities wherever they are.

    Such questions by senior leaders need not be asked -- and should not be asked in public domain -- needless hurting of sentiments -- as good as asking who are your actual parents -- etc etc -- There are very many burning issues--JOBS - -POVERTY -- HEALTH CARE - -EDUCATION -- long list -- Just because RSS /BJP continues with their Hindutva agenda -- there should be a differentiator by Congress --- not falling into this Religion based trap -- -- Already BJP has been ousted karnataka --and they are jn their own well -- drowning in karnataka and also less and less popular in the nation -- WHY GIVE THEM A STRAW WHEN SINKING --

    If all are gods as Holy Scripture says, Where do the man made religions stand ? Also God did not create, then who created religion, definitely man ? Most people are not aware that they are gods as God created humans in his image. And, Most Importantly, All are gods! Irrespective of religions! This caste, religions are all man made as Holy Scripture says "You are gods or children of the Most High." This caste, religions, self made gods of money, power... all for business or to make money, divide and rule, mostly for enslavement of uneducated, lazy in studying holy scriptures, gullible and ignorant. ///// Be like gods with love, peace, joy, self control, humility, gentleness, kindness, charity, brotherliness, unity... and not like demons of lust, pride, anger, arrogance, hatred, jealousy, greed, gluttony, sloth, rudeness, selfishness, divisions... to enjoy life and to make earth a heaven!

    Why he wants the origin of Hinduism?. All Religions are man made to control Humans and control resources. Science says India, Australia, New Guinea, Tasmania, New Zealand, and New Caledonia are all fragments of the ancient supercontinent of Gondwana. As the ocean floor broke apart, these land masses fragmented from one another. The breakaway is beleived to happen 43 million years ago. At that point of time some tribal beleifs might have existed and may have evolved since then. huge human migrations from time to time have influenced Religions. We can debate at lenght plus and minus of all religion. when early scientists told that earth revolved around sun, they were either killed or ostracised. Gradually the acceptance came. Religion also can evove with change in times and shun unwanted practises. A religion that is fixed and static is doomed to fall faster than a religion which is dynamic and takes in its strides the changes that affect earthlings.
