Mumbai, Sep 7: 108 silver urns were installed and preparations for the 5251st birth anniversary of Srikrishna were held at Gokula mandira, renovated by BSKB association and Gopalakrishna public trust at Sion on Wednesday morning

A large number of devotees took part in prayers, poojas and other rituals conducted by chief priest Vedamurthi Srinivas Bhat Daregudde, Gokula priest Ganesh Bhat and co priest Guruprasad Bhat.

Priests Chandrashekar Bhat, Subrahmanya Bhat Mattu, Kumar Bhat Vasai, Prakash Bhat Goregaon, Bhavani Shanker Bhat installed 108 urns in the leadership of Srinivas Bhat Dharegudde. BSKBA and GPT trust president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel and Vijayalaksmi Suresh Rao couple were in charge of the poojas.

GSB ladies wing Matunga and Gokula Bhajana Mandali performed bhajans. Dr Sushila Rao Bengaluru performed Bhakti Rasamanjari.

BSKBA vice president Vaman Holla and Avinash Shastri, secretary A P K Pothi, treasurer CA Haridas Bhat, joint secretary Chitra Melmane, Prashanth Herle, joint treasurer Ganesh Bhat, GPT trust secretary S Ramavitala Kalluraya, trust members Krishna Acharya, Shailini Rao, Krishnaraj Tantri, Anil Gupta, Madhusoodan Agarwal, Kishan Singhal, ladies wing president Sahana A Pothi, Gokula Bhajana Mandali committee president I K Prema S Rao, former president K Subbanna Rao, Shashidhar Shetty Innanje, Subbayya V Shetty, Padmanabha S Payyade, Chandrashekar S Shetty, Haribhat Mundkoor, CA Sudhir R Shetty and other office bearers, members and devotees took part in the poojas.
