Mangaluru: Teacher’s Day celebrated at St Mary’s English Higher Primary School

Mangaluru, Sep 7: St Mary’s English Higher Primary School celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 5 at Mother Veronica Hall.

The event began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer service. The school pupil leader Sherlyn Mascarenhas welcomed the teachers. Students from class 1 to 7 performed a breathtaking programme for their beloved teachers and conducted various games for teachers and made them happy. The programme was compered by Sherlyn Mascarenhas the SPL and Hajira Musba the ASPL. The significance of Teacher’s day was stated by Rimsha Iqbal and Mahamood Wahab P of class 6. Anisha Lobo of class 7 proposed the vote of thanks.

 

PTA executive committee members of the school celebrated Teacher’s Day later at St Mary’s Hall. Rakesh welcomed the teachers. They performed an entertaining programme for teachers which was begun by invoking God’s grace through a meaningful prayer service. Rekha and Priya proposed the vote of thanks with their grateful hearts. The programme ended with refreshment.
