Beltangady: Teacher's Day celebrated at Holy Redeemer School

Beltangady, Sep 7: Teacher's Day was meaningfully celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School here on September 7 in the school auditorium. The celebration was jointly and beautifully organised by the PTA members along with the students.

Teachers were grandly welcomed by the PTA members and students of class 10 through school band. Correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello, headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto, PTA vice president Supriya D'Souza, Parish Pastoral vice president Walter Monis and secretary Gilbert Pinto were present.

The program began by invoking God's blessings through a prayer dance by the students, followed by the lighting of the lamp by all teachers. Students Melston D'Souza and Srishti beautifully apprised about the life of Sarvapalli Radha Krishanan and the importance of Teacher's day, while the Teachers paid floral tribute. The PTA members thanked and appreciated the teachers wonderfully through a wishing song and presented a token of gratitude to all the teachers. Students vibrantly entertained the teachers and gathering through various cultural events.

 

Students conducted various group games and the winners were awarded with prizes. High school teachers who contributed for the consecutive 100% result in SSLC 2022-23 exams were honoured. The school management presented a momento to all the teachers, as a symbol of gratitude and appreciation for their zealous dedicated and committed service.

Students Veona Rego welcomed the gathering, Haripriya proposed a vote of thanks and Nafia and Sana compered the program. Teachers Blendin Rodrigues, Vinitha Moras and Anitha guided the students.
