Mangaluru, Sep 8: As part of the ongoing career guidance programme "Edupath Lecture Series 2023," Dr SajjanShenoy, head, Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at KMC Mangaluru, conducted a session on the topic, 'MEDICINE AS A CAREER' at the Cultural Centre of the Expert PU College, Valachil.

Addressing the students Dr Sajjan Shenoy said, "Medicine is a noble career and it allows your potential to impact human life in a way that is truly unique.” He added that the job satisfaction through serving the patients is unparalleled. He gave thorough information on NEET examination and seat matrices in medical colleges. He fondly recalled his college days at Expert and said that he considered himself fortunate to get trained under the able guidance of Expert and the discipline was the first and best lesson that he learnt at Expert.

Towards the end of the programme, there was an interactive session in which students put forward a plethora of questions and got themselves enlightened by the guest speaker.

Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal, presented a memento to the resource person.

Suchitra Shenoy, Gurudath, coaching head, Anitha Shetty, programme director and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
