Mangaluru: ‘Pharma Vision 2023’ at Srinivas College of Pharmacy from Sep 11-16

Mangaluru, Sep 9: Indian Pharmaceutical Association, local branch Mangauru in association with Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil and South Canara District Chemists & Druggists Association, Mangaluru, will organise ‘National Pharmacy Week & Science Fest-2023’ from September 11 to 16.

On September 11, T P Sujith, deputy drugs controller, Mangaluru will light the lamp and inaugurate the function. Chief guest Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, principal, St Philomena Pre-University College, Puttur, Dr CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, chancellor, Srinivas University & president, A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru will preside over the function. Guests of honour, Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro chancellor, Srinivas University & vice president, A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru, A Vijayalakshmi R. Rao, Trustee Member, Board of Governors, Srinivas University & director, Srinivas Group of Colleges, Mangaluru, Prof A Mitra S Rao, trustee member, board of governors, Srinivas University & secretary, A Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru, B N Babu, assistant drugs controller Mangaluru, Udaykishore P, assistant drugs controller, Mangaluru, Sujith Bhide, president, SKDCDA, Mangaluru, and Gurucharan Rao, secretary, SKDCDA, Mangaluru will be present during the programme.

Pharmavision is a scientific platform made available at Valachil Campus of Srinivas Group of Colleges. All the pre-university science students are cordially invited to participate in various competitive scientific events. It is an ideal event to showcase their creative, hidden and untapped skills of the enthusiastic, dynamic, talented brains. Further, an opportunity to have a bird’s eye view of other professional courses (both technical and paramedical) i.e, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy and engineering under one roof.

Various competitions are planned for PUC Science students on September 11. (Quiz, Collage, Poster presentation and Science Model).
