Mangaluru: Team Agrar wins MCC Bank Ltd-Daijiworld Trio Stars, Ranipura runner-up

Mangaluru, Sep 9: The most-awaited finale of MCC Bank Ltd-Daijiworld Trio Stars was held at World Konkani Center here on Saturday September 9.

The six teams Team Fajr, Ranipura Trieds, Jass Udyavar, Putturchi Taram, Salka Paklyo Kirem and Team Medley Agrar fought for the title. Team Medley Agrar finished first in a nail-biting finale containing two rounds namely Mando and Choice round. Ranipura Trieds clinched the second position.

Known singers Shilpa Cutinho, Joshal D’Souza, Melroy Furtado and Rynel Sequeira were the judges of the show. The entire show was powered by the MCC Bank Ltd aiming to encourage budding singing talents and to provide a platform to them.

Expressing his thoughts on Trio Singing Stars, Anil Lobo, chairman MCC Bank Ltd said, “The MCC Bank is always happy to associate with Daijiworld TV for encouraging talents from various sections. We can name Daijiworld as a factory of new talents. Hundreds of talents are shining in the community today and almost all have come to light from the platform of Daijiworld. The new loan facilities, especially the low interest education loans are one of the best examples on how banks give back to the society. We are glad to be part of this show and congratulate Daijiworld management for its success.”

Addressing the contestants Walter Nandalike, founder Daijiworld media said, “Today, we had six teams in the finals and only one team bagged the title. That does not mean the other five lost. Reaching the finals was itself a winning moment and today all six teams won the show through their performances. Being sportive makes us more confident and brings us closer to victory. Hence, no one should think that the finale is the last act. It is just the beginning of a new journey."

Alexis Castelino, director, Daijiworld TV, Ronald Nazareth, HR director Daijiworld media, and the directors of MCC Bank were present.

Raina Sequeira, Ketan Castelino, Dealle D’Souza, Neil Valencia, Sharon Rodrigues and Sanjay Rodrigues the team members of ‘Gayan Gazali @ 100’ performed Mando sessions in the intervals. Rupal D’Souza hosted the show.

MCC Bank Ltd-Daijiworld Trio Stars started on Daijiworld TV in the month of March earlier this year. Sanjay Rodrigues was the show director while Stany Bela was the production director. More than 25 teams from various parts of coastal Karnataka enrolled into Trio Stars. After many rounds, six teams qualified to the finals. Komal Jenifer D’Souza hosted the show.
