Bantwal: Minister of minor irrigation N S Boseraju visits B Janardhan Poojary

Bantwal, Sep 9: Karnataka minister of minor irrigation, N S Boseraju on Saturday September 9 visited former union minister B Janardhan Poojary at his residence, obtained his blessings and enquired about his health and welfare. He spoke to Poojary about politics and assured him that he will proceed on the path laid down by him.

Speaking to news reporters later he said that Janardhan Poojary is a guide for all of them. “He is concerned about the poor and had provided several projects for them. He has united the party sincerely and by hard work. We work under his guidance,” he said.

Congress leaders M A Gafoor, Baby Kunder, Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Chandraprakash Shetty, Padmashekar Jain, Abbas Ali, Sadashiva Bangera, Lolaksha Shetty, Jagadish Kunder, Madhusoodan Shenoy and others were present.

Boseraju later inspected the dam being constructed at Jakribettu. Minor irrigation assistant engineer Shiva Prasanna gave details about the dam. The minister asked officials to acquire land immediately for construction of the approach road to the dam.

Minor irrigation department secretary Yathish Chandra, chief engineer Raghavan, superintending engineer Vinayaka Haranatti, executive engineer Sayyed Atikoor, assistant executive engineer Vijaya Shetty, assistant engineer Shivaprasanna, Congress party leaders M A Gafoor, Baby Kunder, Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Chandraprakash Shetty, Padmashekar Jain, Abbas Ali, Sadashiva Bangera, Janardhan Chendthimar, Lolaksha Shetty, Jagadish Kunder, Madhusudan Shenoy and others were present.
