Times are very bad; people have to be very careful of their valuables; the recent spate of daring burglaries and suicides shows that many people have become desperadoes due to financial breakdown!

Please have a look around other parts of the world and will realise that people do their own work at home. Teach your kids to help you out with cleaning, cooking etc. So when they have to make their own nest , they are aware and skilled to do their own house chores. Then Reliance on the house help will not be required.

Bro; here majority of houses have only senior citizens living with the children staying in some other city or migrated abroad for a living or for better prospects! Having built big mansions it's impossible to handle the work generated for mantainence, in the mansion, outside of cooking at the most; that also is not possible after a certain age with various lifestyle diseases setting in! Many old people are trapped having built big houses with no one to stay; it's a very tough decision to leave one's own house and go to an old age home, which is very dicey!! Advanced countries conditions cannot be extrapolated to third world countries!!
