Mangaluru, Sep 10: The Basketball players of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru emerged winners bagging the first place in Senior Girls category & Senior Boys category and 2nd place in Junior Boys category in the 13th James Naismith Basketball Cup-2023 organised by Mangalore Basketball Club at the Srinivasa Mallya Indoor Courts from August 31 to September 3.
The synchronised efforts of Saanvi Kotian brought her the honour of Best Player award in Senior Girls category.
The ambience of the school with PETs, the parents and the friends cheering and supporting the players was enthralling. Overall, the team work, diligence and zeal to win, have made the teams the winners they are today.
The school management, principal, staff and students have congratulated the Basketball players and wished them continued success in their future endeavours.
