Mangaluru, Sep 11: In a distressing incident, a young man from Ullal took his own life by hanging at his wife's residence.

Ravindra (35), a resident of Kondana in Mitranagar, Ullal taluk, is the the deceased.

Ravindra had visited his wife's house in Panchinadka, Kallige village, Bantwal on September 10.

He left his wife and son to attend a relative's auspicious event around 12 pm but later returned to his wife's residence. Concern arose when Ravindra didn't answer his wife's evening phone call. Worried, she approached their neighbors for assistance. Upon entering the house, neighbors tragically discovered Ravindra's lifeless body hanging from the ceiling beam.

The Bantwal town police have registered a case, and it is suspected that financial difficulties may have driven Ravindra to take such a tragic step.
