Kasargod: Rapid Action Force personnel stage march past in city areas, Kumble, Uppala

Kasargod, Sep 13: A squad of the Rapid Action Force staged a march past in Kasargod, Kumble and Uppala market as per the directions of the union home ministry.

A 68-member team led by assistant commandant M Bharathi staged a march past at the new bus station and Vidyanagar among a few other locations.

As many as 97 army personnel from Chennai Rapid Action Force have landed in Kasargod. They staged a march past against the likelihood of protests that may erupt pertaining to the issues such as the latest one on Sanatana Dharma.

The personnel are guarding against the possible political clashes with a view to ensuring that law and order is maintained besides protecting citizens from fear mongering.

The army personnel were accompanied by Kasargod police.
