Mangaluru, Sep 18: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru observed a day of reflection and prayer for the students of grade I to V on September 16.
The day commenced by connecting with God through prayer led by the students and was followed by the guided nature meditation. Later, the students reflected vocally on the marvels of nature.
The teachers spoke on the themes ‘Love of God’, ‘Life is Precious’ and ‘Love for Parents’ and these talks were supported with videos, interaction, action songs and activities. The students reflected on these themes and it was heartening to read their reflection on the marvels of God which they penned down and made a collage. As a take away, the students prepared ‘Thank You’ cards as a token of love for their parents. It was overwhelming to see the students prayerful, participating, yet disciplined.
