Mangaluru, Sep 21: Srinivas University Institute of Physiotherapy orientation programme was held on September 20 at Hotel Srinivas in the city.

The chief guest of the programme, pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr A Srinivas Rao stated that in their physiotherapy institution, students are trained to treat people, solve their problems, and bring a smile to their face. He was also informed that a state-level conference for physiotherapy would be held shortly.

The president of the programme, chancellor of Srinivas University and president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, said that this is a profession where people are treated without cutting the body. He wished the students a beautiful journey of gaining knowledge at Srinivas Institution.

Srinivas University board of governors trustee member, A Vijayalakshmi R Rao shared her experience with physiotherapy and explained how it has become an essential part of life today.

Srinivas University board of governors trustee member, Prof Er A Mitra S Rao, expressed her pride in seeing the students join the field of physiotherapy and the support of their parents. she expressed that they have not only chosen a course but also taken responsibility for treating humans who are in need.

Srinivas University vice chancellor, Dr P S Aithal, shared that there are students all over the world who have graduated in physiotherapy from their college. He wished the students to always dream big and improve their skills.

Srinivas University development registrar, Dr Ajay Kumar, wished the students well in their future endeavours in this profession.

Institute of Physiotherapy dean, Dr Rajashekar S welcomed the gathering, and Dr Prem Kumar conveyed the vote of thanks.
